KEY HIGHLIGHTS
Expanding Opportunities for Women
We established the Women@Rust-Oleum associate engagement group in 2019 to provide professional enrichment, personal engagement, social connectivity and community-giving opportunities for more than 200 associates.
"Women@Rust-Oleum has introduced me to so many of the strong women who work across multiple departments within Rust-Oleum. I've enjoyed forming bonds with other women and building closer connections within our organization. I have always left events feeling motivated, proud, supported and energized to walk alongside my fellow Women@Rust-Oleum."
Lori Janssen, Sr. Brand Manager, Rust-Oleum
In FY23, RPM is building upon the foundation of Women@Rust-Oleum by expanding the platform to encompass all “Women of RPM,” with the goal of sharing learning and development opportunities across the entire company.
“After posting record sales in FY21 – when people were busy with do-it-yourself projects during Covid-19 lockdowns – our Consumer Group faced many challenges in FY22, led by a significant increase in the cost of raw materials. Labor, transportation and ongoing pandemic issues persisted, yet our team continued to fight to maintain our market position during the year and plan to turn the corner on these challenges in FY23. We have implemented price increases with our customers, brought on additional capacity and are experiencing a more stable supply of raw materials, which will lead to higher levels of production and fill rates.”
— Bill Spaulding, President of the Consumer Group
